Living with noticeable hair loss is no longer to be expected due to the incredible developments that have been made in the treatment of men’s hair loss. With the introduction of Propecia, generic name Finasteride, it is now possible to stop or slow down the progression of hair loss in the majority of men who use it.
Fifty percent of all men experience male-patterned baldness; the most common type of hair loss beginning around the age of thirty.
It generally starts as a receding hairline; a thinning of hair on the crown and temples; resulting in a U-shape pattern around the head. In some rare cases, a male may end up completely bald.
The condition is genetic; caused by an abundance of the male hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which causes the hair follicles to become weak and eventually inactive, resulting in a lack of hair re-growth. This process can take decades, so if you have experienced rapid hair loss (under a year) or scalp irritation causing bald patches, you should seek medical advice from your GP to ensure there are no underlying thyroid conditions or other reasons for the condition.
One of the most effective treatments for general hair loss is finasteride, which prevents further hair loss and increases hair growth.
Applies to finasteride 1.5mg: PropeciaIn addition, Propecia also makes it possible for me to get noticeable hair growth in — and have more hair. For the treatment of male-patterned hair loss, the 2,500-ffected men who have taken finasteride for more than a year can be defined as men who have experienced 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) syndrome, a condition that can occur as a side effect of some medications.
The condition is primarily caused by the hormone converted into DHT by the prostate in the body. This process leads to a men’s sexual health disorder, including an increased sensitivity to and infertility as a result of the prostate gland’s inability to produce DHT.
For the treatment of male-patterned baldness, the 1000-ffected men who have experienced 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) syndrome, the prostate contains 20% (1.5mg) and the levels of testosterone in the blood arein10≤ PSAide&t≤ 20ng/mL, which is equal to 1111mg for the prostate and 782mg for the blood.
Finasteride divides these two organs and causes them to become active, known as“dihydrotestosterone.”This process causes the prostate to become more active and this increases the number of hair follicles on the scalp; result in a increase in hair loss.
For the treatment of male-patterned hair loss, the 2024-2025 men who took finasteride for more than 5 years should experience 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) syndrome, a condition that can occur as a side effect of some medications.
The 5α-dihydrotestosterone (DHT) medication causes the levels of testosterone in the blood to rise in a dangerous increase in PSA levels; rise to as low a level as 0.3ng/mL and cause the levels of DHT medication to be in the absolute maximum range, reaching a maximum at 1,500ng/mL.
For the treatment of male-patterned baldness, the 2016-2016 men who took finasteride for more than 5 years should experience 3α-androstenedione (AAN; 1715±831ng/mL) and men generally experience symptoms such as urticaria, sweating, swollen legs, and oral hairy tongue, but not all of which can be fatal.
AAN is equal to 1.5ng/mL for the blood; 1.5ng/mL for the hair loss.
AAN is also equal to 1.5ng/mL for the blood; 1.5ng/mL for the hair loss.

Finasteride 1.Forum Topic: Propecia vs. MinoxidilPosted by: Anonymous
Hi everyone,
I'm a big fan of Propecia. This medication is an FDA approved treatment for male pattern baldness, but can it cause side effects like headaches, diarrhea, and indigestion?
Thanks for reaching out! I'm looking into purchasing it but will definitely look into it first.
Its a great product for me, as I've noticed some positive effects from the drug but there are a lot of potential side effects and contraindications to taking this medication. Its a great option if you want to stay on top of your health and see how it works.
I also noticed a few other side effects I was experiencing but not quite yet. I'll definitely talk to my doctor about them, as they might want to look into Propecia more. Its a great option and I can really appreciate any advice you can offer.
Thanks for sharing this info!
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing, but if its possible to get Propecia without having to take a tablet of it, I would really appreciate the information. Thanks again, everyone!
Hi Darryl,
I'm not a doctor or pharmacist, but I have had similar experiences with both finasteride and minoxidil. Both work well as the first line of defense for men with hair loss, but the side effects are pretty common.
I was initially diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia (male pattern baldness) in 2005 and the drug was discontinued in 2013. I've since been using Propecia as its been pretty effective in stopping hair loss, but not as effective as other forms of hair loss (finasteride).
I've had success with both treatments but with minoxidil, I still have a bit of side effects (hirsutism, dry mouth) but I've been dealing with a bit of "headaches", but not quite gone over the issue with the minoxidil. I am hoping that this will change things for me.
I've had success with Propecia but the side effects are still not quite as strong as before. I'm also not seeing any significant changes in my sexual life. I'm also on a long term treatment plan and will likely continue using Propecia for a while. Any advice would be most welcome!
Hi Darryl!
Thanks for your response! I'm glad you are taking the meds. Its really helpful knowing there's a lot more you can talk to your doctor about before deciding to stop taking them.
If your doctor thinks there's a significant risk of side effects, I recommend you talk to your healthcare provider first. They can offer a safe and effective way to manage this side effect, and they may recommend it as part of a more comprehensive treatment plan.
Youre welcome, Darryl!
Thanks for your response, Darryl! I'm glad I was able to get some relief from this. My hair is still too big for the usual dosage of Propecia, but I am looking into taking this as an alternative. I also have concerns about the side effects. I have to be on a higher dose and my doctor is concerned about the possibility of side effects in the future. I'll keep an eye out for them.
The side effects are a little more pronounced than with finasteride, but I'm not sure they are related to the drug itself or the medication itself. The side effects are quite mild and tend to be milder when taken on their own. It's not a big deal for me because I'm not taking them in the same dosage as finasteride, but I can see some benefits in terms of the side effects when I take them.
I was prescribed Propecia with a small amount of Minoxidil (0.1 mg) and I'm now taking it every day. However, I'm not sure if the side effects are related to the Minoxidil or to the finasteride. I can't take it with other medications, like an anti-inflammatory medication, as its not as effective as Finasteride in stopping hair loss.
